Ohio Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu Rescue, Inc., is organized to act and operate exclusively as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization pursuant to the laws of the State of Ohio and to act and operate as a charitable organization whose goals are to provide foster homes for displaced Shih Tzu and other small breed dogs until we are able to place them into suitable homes.

It is our goal to place dogs efficiently while always maintaining the dog's best interest.  To evaluate each dog and potential home with the goal of matching each dog to the best possible home. To provide education with regard to the Shih Tzu breed, the importance of responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering to help with the over-population of pets. To work in cooperation with shelters, rescue groups and other national breed rescues to help coordinate our efforts.
